The annual harvest festival was being held at the county park. In one booth several energetic men were making bean soup in a big iron kettle over an open fire. They put up a sign that read "Bean Soup and Corn Bread -- $1.50" and began stirring the beans. A little later we wandered by the booth again. To our amusement, the $1.50 price had been x-ed out. Underneath was this explanation: "Better Than We Thought -- $1.75."
