Getting in touch with my higher power can happen anywhere and anytime. When I try to make contact in the morning, it gets me ready for the whole day. Saying thanks and asking for His help reminds me that He's the strength behind everything I do today.
Life is full of choices, especially when I'm ready to move out into the world. It's not easy to make decisions by myself. Today I'll ask for help from my higher power "God".
Making excuses is selfish. When I do it, I'm only trying to cover myself. being honest- to be responsible for my actions is what works for me. It takes less energy to tell the truth and it works out better for everybody.

Remember the Psalms 23
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake
He restores my soul
Yea, though I walk through the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
For you are with me
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You onioned my head with oil
My cup runs over, Surely shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever.
Amen

I will fear no evil

and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever.
Amen

Our Old wood stove
I was crocheting next to our wood stove after I had placed a log into the stove. I noticed that the flames were getting brighter through the glass rock window, it was then that I looked up at the pipe leading to the ceiling and I saw flames there too. I opened the door to the stove and threw a glass a water into it, then soot dusted me. The point is ...is that you have to be VERY careful with wood stoves, they can take off like a jet and it sounds like it too.
I started a fire this morning in the wood stove
